Thats it!! Season over.

Tactix game was messy in parts, and very physical on both sides. YES BOTH SIDES!!! I heard it was an okay game to watch. Not going to watch it myself!! But I'll take that person's word for it!

Well that didn't go how we planned, and in turn we were denied a possible spot in the top 4. We were all guilty of playing average netball. Very disappointed that that game wasn't ours! But we have one more game left! Tactix!!
 
We have to play against a team that has their hands firmly on the wooden spoon, which means they have nothing to lose! It will not be easy!
 

YESSSSS!
 
North Shore Events centre put on a huge show for us. The crowd was amazing and pulled us through some patchy play. Winning by 9 was our biggest victory yet! Not that impressive, I know, but we'll have it! We backed each other up, let the ball go, and finished it off! Awesome feeling, and for me, was good to be back on the court I started out on!!
 
The chances of us still making the play offs are very slim. But we have a big game coming up! Steel!

We can take a lot of things from that game, but unfortunately one of them isn't the win. We put up a huge fight against a team that is most likely going to win the championship! We stayed with the Swifts till the end. We even managed to get on top of them at one stage of the game! But it wasnt enough. Like I've said in way too many of these blogs, we handed the win over. We made too many personal errors, and that makes it impossible to catch a class side like the Swifts.
 

WOW!!

That was a terrible performance on our part! And to be honest, we probably didn't deserve that win! but we will take the 2 points, actually, we'll take the 2 points and run! The Pulse played the best netball I believe they have ever produced. They bought it to us, and we took all game to realise that. If they play like that again, their upcoming game against the Tactix will be a good one!

AWESOME!!!

Not many people really understand how awesome it is to win in Southland. Being told to go home by Southlanders made the win just that much sweeter! Staying in the running for top 4 spot is a nice little addition!

We played our game, and made things happen the way we wanted them to. The Steel is notorious for coming back so we were never really comfortable. It was a fantastic performance. We were steady, and controlled. and it paid off.

..............Pulse!

Down By 3!!! It may have been less painful losing by 23. We had it! and it slipped away.

One of the things we can take from the game is the fight we had. Nothing was going our way, calls were happening down one end and not the other, but we fought to the end! We wanted to win that game more than any other! So many errors. we just cant seem to finish!

Yes, Yes i know about the missed shots!! and yes they have been keeping me up at night!

MOVING ON!!!

Yesss!!! A win we can be proud of. From the moment the whistle went to start the game, we were never going to let anybody stand between us and a win.
 

First up, im not gonna lie, doing a blog after losing sucks! I liked it much better after the Thunderbirds game!! Haha

Dammit!!!

It happened again! And yes, it hurt! Too many errors is unacceptable in this league.

But lets move on from that. it happened, it was ugly, and we want to learn and forget....... Now the Vixens!!

What is there to say? It was disheartening to go down like that with such good wins in the first two rounds. We played in patches of brilliance, but the Magic were overall steady. And unfortunately for us came out with the win. Some say they have bought us back down to earth. But they have actually taught us a very good lesson. We know we are better than we showed on Saturday night. And we are going to come out fighting.

Not the prettiest game of netball so far. Although a win is a win, we are not at all pleased with the overall performance we gave against the Pulse. They were always going to come out fighting. They had a point to prove, and they proved it in the 1st 3 Quarters.

Our first game in the ANZ Championship is a home game which has got the girls really excited.  There is nothing better than playing in front of a vocal home crowd, so if you are able to come to The Trust Stadium at Waitakere at 2.15pm this Saturday we would love to see you.  We have a great team this year and are all really looking forward to producing some pleasing results and hopefully a win tomorrow!
