Getting to know Germany

I really like it here! The cities are quite beautiful with many gardens/parks and the people we have meet here have been very good to us! Quite a few places we have stayed at while in Germany have been at the house of people we have only meet once or not at all (a friend of a friend)! But all have looked after and welcomed us. We are very lucky that New Zealand has SUCH a good name overseas! So many people tell us that they not only love New Zealand but also that they were treated so kindly there! So THANK YOU New Zealand!! You have made our trips that much easier!

Like I said, we are now in Munster for just over a week training with the 6th German team, but a very good one who only missed out on World Champs due to the country limit of 4 teams! So with our semester 1 exam behind us (sat it in the NZ consulate in Hamburg last Thursday) we can focus again on out training and have a really good week here!
It has been very disappointing missing out on qualifying for World Champs by only a few teams and points. There is nothing more that I can say on that matter!
We will watch the results over the next 2 weeks but our focus is now on the 8 back to back world tour events we are competing in starting in Gstaad, Switzerland on 7th July!
So with another good week of training ahead, it is time for me to hit the hay!
Chao!

Noeline Taurua

Did Noeline Taurua really approach you to play for the Magic against the Thunderbirds this weekend ?

Thanks

For keeping supporters like me up to date with your progress . Yours blogs have meant that I haven't had to go to page 18 of a Google search to find out how you and Blundell are doing on the world circuit . Did you have any luck selling your Rapid Lawn franchise ? This year I have been keenly Team LG progress since I watched you guys win the Christchurch leg of the National Beach Volleyball tour .
